LCS’s Middle School Boy’s Basketball Team

The Lanham Christian School Middle School boy’s basketball team has had an amazing season! They finished the season with a 12-9 record and an 8-5 conference record. These boys have played their hearts out and learned so much along the way. It has been an absolute pleasure to watch them grow and develop throughout the season.
The Lions were led by 2021-2022 Team MVP Ricky Goings and Caleb Gregorio. Talented Transfers Brandon Woodard, Troy Ray, Mike “Trey” Johnson, DJ Robinson, Vaughan Vines, Ryen Goings, and Cayden Morrison helped the team achieve its historic season. The roster was rounded out with returners Mark-Anthony Smith and Michael Palmer.

Participated in the Turkey Shootout at Dematha and Christmas Invitational at Gonzaga


Returning team MVP, Ricky Goings scored a school record for points in a half with 20 vs Calverton on December 1st, 2021. Local Phenom Brandon Woodard was named to the all-tournament team at the Gonzaga Christmas Classic after averaging 18ppg, 11 RPG, and 8 APG.
Overall, the Lanham Christian School Middle School boy’s basketball team has had a fantastic season. These boys have learned so much and have grown both individually and as a team. We can’t wait to see what they will accomplish in the years to come!
