Celebrating Our Seniors & Raising Breast Cancer Awareness with @RunwayForACureDC

This year, our Lanham Christian School Volleyball team is thrilled to not only celebrate our talented seniors but also join the fight against breast cancer. As part of our Breast Cancer Awareness Month initiative, we’ve partnered with Runway for a Cure DC to host a PINK OUT Fundraiser, encouraging our community to raise awareness and show support for this important cause.

Celebrating Our Two Amazing Seniors

Rai Brown, surrounded by the love and support of her incredible family, has shown strength and leadership throughout her time on the court. Your LCS Volleyball journey has been unforgettable.
Christal Newman, along with her amazing family and best friend by her side, has been a true inspiration to us all. Her dedication and passion have made an everlasting impact both on and off the court.

We want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate our two amazing seniors: Rai Brown and Christal Newman. Rai and Christal have shown exceptional leadership, commitment, and passion on and off the court, and their contributions have helped shape the success of our volleyball program. Their final year with us is all the more special as we come together for something bigger than the game—supporting the fight against breast cancer.

Breast cancer touches the lives of so many, and with events like this, we hope to make a difference. Follow @runwayforacuredc to see how you can get involved and help us continue to raise awareness. Together, we can serve more than just volleyballs—we can serve a purpose!
