Called to Greatness: NJHS Induction Inspires a Generation of Leaders
On Wednesday, April 2,2025, our school community gathered to celebrate an extraordinary milestone—the induction of 17 middle school students into the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS). This prestigious recognition celebrates not just academic excellence, but also leadership, service, character, and citizenship.
As proud parents, staff, and students filled the room, the atmosphere was one of joy, honor, and purpose. These 17 students have demonstrated the commitment and character it takes to be leaders not only within our school walls but in their homes, churches, and communities.
🎤 Mr. Burr, our Executive Director, delivered a powerful and unforgettable message centered on the Parable of the Talents from the Bible. He encouraged students to recognize that each of them has been given gifts—talents—and they are called to invest them boldly.
“Don’t bury your talent,” he said. “Use it. Grow it. Multiply it. God gave you something special for a reason.”
It was more than a ceremony—it was a charge. A call to greatness. A challenge to our students to lead with faith, to serve with humility, and to grow with purpose.

🎓 7th Grade Inductees: Valery Barboza, Jordan Brown, Kandyxe Dela Pena, Anastasia Moody, Hajaratu (Esther) Pewa, Ayanna Rice, Olumide Shabi, and Blaise Wood.
We are incredibly proud of these students for rising to the occasion and saying “yes” to the call of excellence. We know this is just the beginning of all the great things God has in store for them.
